Poll Question
I am going to make an attempt to organize my collection into albums as opposed to the current assorted folders, holders and boxes of 2x2's that my coins are in. Between the 3 most popular choices, Dansco, Intercept and Littleton, which should I use? Please vote and tell why that brand is your favorite choice. Thanks Results

I voted for the dansco. I think they look very classy looking, also almost all coin dealer carry them. I thought I heard that most are no longer going to sell the intercept albums. I have not look at the litteton ones so no comment on them. But I really like it when the books I wnat are easy to find. that is why I like dansco just hope they do not change the look to them.
you might wnat to add one more whitman I know alot of people like these to.

I never thought I would use any album but Whitman, but a few years ago I switched to Dansco.
Why?
Redily available.
They look nice.
Pages can be easily added.
And, I think they look nice when placed side-by-side on a shelf.

I use all Dansco now. I feel they just can't be beat for quality and appearance. The new Pres dollar album is great! Then you can add the protective, anti-corrosion slip cases for even more protection of your collection. IMHO, once you use Dansco, you will use no other album.

Dansco, They have that right balance of price and quality compared to the others. I used to like Whitman but they have no slipcases. Also, if you have lots of 2x2's it might be worth buying a couple Dansco coin stock books that allow you to simply slide your 2x2s in.

I'm a Dansco fan all the way. They look nice, the coins fit well, and the prices are reasonable. Also, I use the album as kind of a guide - if it has a hole, I try to get the coin to fill it. That has helped me to complete several sets (or series) of coins, and I'm kind of a stickler for completing something once I've started it. Dansco is my choice for appearance, availability, and protection of my coins.

I use Dansco albums except for my Victorian Type Set because they don't make one. I am even more impressed with Dansco albums since they began offering the corrosion protection slipcases. I purchased three of those immediately, and will undoubtedly get more.

Ok. Say Dansco doesn't offer the album you want. Between these 2, Whitman and Harris (US Mint album), IYO, which offers the best album, for appearance, display and protection? Thanks.

We only sell Dansco albums in the shop. The Whitman Classic and other stuff just doesn't sell and the quality is notably less than Dansco. Steve email or PM me about the Dansco album you want that you can't find...I'll try to help if I can. The answer to your question I guess would be Whitman Classic as a second best product, imho. tradernick

Oh and I should also note that we still sell the blue Whitman folders, of course.

Here are questions about the Dansco Album for Presidential dollars. 1. I assume the album comes with a space for proofs, right? 2. I heard that Dansco was waiting to produce an album which would also have space for silver proofs, if that coin is approved by Congress. Is that correct? What do you think the odds are that such a coin would be approved? I'd like to buy an album now, but am still wondering about the above questions.

I have had State Quarters in an Intercept and a Dansco both with slipcovers. Some of my older quarters are showing some tarnish in the Dansco but not in the Intercept. I believe that Intercept uses 3-M anticorrosion sheets. I use the 3-M sheets in some boxed collections also and They seem to work very well.

Gary, according to Brent-Kueger site they will have the Dansco Presidential dollar Series with Proofs in a two vol. and will be available mid-late April. Littleton, has the Presidential dollar Album P & D issue and S-mint album separately or both together. Hope this helps.:)
