Fresh out of its PCGS Genuine slab. What grade do you give it? The code was 98 "Rim Damage" All I can find is the small nick at 4 o-clock on the reverse. Perfect for my 7070.

A little rim bump goes great in an album - you don't even see them.

Nice coin and the best part is you are sure it's real.

I would have guessed a TPG would put it as details/improper cleaning (or whatever notation they use) because the hairlines seem to shwo a fairly harsh cleaning. Heck, that rim ding barely takes away from the eye appeal and nit hardly noticeable. Very nice coin to put in a type set!

Nice find jleveille. I would agree XF. Myself, I was also thinking of going the "PCGS Genuine" route for the Trade dollar for my type set..

EF-45 details. The coin looks like it may have been cleaned at some point. I see two digs on reverse, one at 4 O'Clock and one at 10 O'Clock, They don't seem large enough to cause a details grade by themselves.

EF details, harshly cleaned. I'd net it out lower than VF, however, since the hairlines are so severe. Perhaps F-15 or so equivalent value.

EF details cleaned, the rim dings don't bother me on this piece as much as the color and hairlines from the cleaning.
