My favourite coin is my 1934-35 Melbourne Centenary florin.
I also have several coins that I call my babies, all the die-clash coins that I've found. 5¢, 10¢, 20¢ 50¢. The best ones are 5¢ & 10¢, the others are faint & a bit harder to see.

My favorite coin is the 2003 UK 2pounds. It was given to me by my sister when she had her vacation. It does not worth much but as what they say : "when you received something, it's always the thought that counts."

My favorite coin is the 1869 3 cent piece I inherited from my Dad. It just has so much going for it on so many different levels. There's the sentimental value, the way cool design, the age, the condition(VF) considering it was pulled from circulation, & the fact that it has sparked an interest in all coins from the 1800's. You just can't beat the combination.

I would have to say right now mu most prized set, I will have to say my Mercury dime set. it is missing the 1916-d. But this is the first set that I stated working on when I got back into coins. before that I just bought from the mint. so this is the first set I worked on and almost finshed since I found out there are other coins out there besides mondern coins. so that set is my most prized someday I may upgrade the coins but I am still very happy with my acivment. then if I couls have a second prized set it would be the 20th aniv. silver american eagle set. since that is currently my most expesive coins/set. Also I am very glad those coins I set were a help.

my favorite coin is the 1946 Australian half penny. Why? because it was given to me by a special friend and it is one of the only 10pcs of world coins that I own. I like the design and the color of the coin as well

TSOTL, My favorite coin at this time is a 1904-0 Morgan dollar, sent to me by my sister in 1962. She sent me 4 of the coins as Xmas gifts for my children. I only have one left, so right now it is my favorite coin. Berry

My favorite coin, although not expensive at all monetarily is priceless to me. It is an 1889 Morgan $1. My mom got this while working at a bank and it is the coin that first got me into collecting. I doubt I will ever let it go, assuming anyone ever wanted it ;)

My favorite is a worthless 1974 Agorah from Israel that my mom gave me when I was 5 that started me on my collection. The funny thing is she has never given me another coin since.

I guess my most prized and sentimental coin is not a coin at all but rather two old Chinese notes, one a 1922, 5 Yuan, the other a 1921, 10 Yuan. I've had them ever since I can remember and can only guess that my uncle Dandoo brought them back from Asia when he served in Vietnam. My Grandfather showed me old coins but If he ever gave me one it is long gone. I've had the Chinese notes for about 40 years and they inspired me to study Japanese (my school didn't offer Chinese) and live in Japan. Now, I'm learning Chinese and am soon going to marry a Chinese woman, all because an uncle gave me a couple of notes that sparked my curiosity many years ago.

Sorry for the late reply/entry. I just hope I'm not too late. My favorite coin/s is a set that I recently acquired from Irishraider here. It is a set of ASE's. While not complete, it's well on its way. I find these to be my favorites for three reasons: 1. They're beautiful coins 2. I was able to help of a fellow CCF member 3. While not a member yet, I believe 5% of the funds went to the Knights. I am just glad to have met the folks here, been able to help some folks here in a time of need, and enhance my collection all at the same time.
