I would try using coppercoins.com to attribute it. Closer pictures and a picture of the date couldn't hurt. Without being able to see clearly my semi-educated guess would be a 1972P-1DO-008.
Wait for more knowledgeable people to chime in.

This is definitely a nice doubled die, and a collectible variety. There are a bunch of doubled dies for the date so I would check coppercoins.com as jdavis18 suggested.

From the new pictures, I believe it's 1DO-003. Check the die markers against the photos at the link.

There isn't any doubling on liberty though...

There is 7 DDO (double die obverse) for 1972. Yours is NOT DDO #1....but could be 2/3/4/6/7/8. Lincoln Cent Resource will be your new friend for info.

acloco: it can not be a 7 nor a 4 rotation is wrong for these two.

Direction of rotation and strength narrow it down to 003 or 008. I'll go with the 003 crowd based on what I can see of the S in TRUST.

Too bad it isn't a #4. That's the most valuable of all. Nice DDO, though.

Wonder what the real population of #4 is. I bet that many slip by the average picker.
