I'd say EF. Is the top of COM in Commonwealth weakly struck? Nice coin anyway.

Nice piece, that should make AU50 or an Aussie gVF.

I would say its choice vf to ef. As far as value goes...what did you pay for it? FMV is close to $900-$1000, not always what it would sale for though. Nice coin!

If you GOOGLE AU50 1925 penny there are a few examples around, most are around the $1500 mark.

Theyre a bit optimistic with their prices I think. I paid $350 and think that was fairly good. This is the first one I've purchased. I figured when I first started I would wait until I found a good one for a decent price. I was pretty chuffed when I found this one.

$1500 is a bit optimistic, our last AU50 sold for $510 and the Blue Sheet value is $750. $350 was a bargain though.

I'd be saying it's probably gVF (without the minor knicks around George V, it would be aEF). It's very similar to mine. I would love an EF, but there's just such a huge jump in price & I'm not prepared to pay that much at this point.
I'd prefer to hold onto my 1931 Penny in UNC than several gVF/aEF 1925 Penny's.
But a nice score at a decent price. I think I also paid a similar price. Well done.
