It does not look quite right to me but what do I know? Does anybody have any experience in this area?

Perhaps it's just an artefact of the scanner, but to me it looks "tooled" - a genuine but well worn ancient coin that someone in more recent times has decided to try to "unwear" by carving new details into it.

As for identity, it looks more Bactrian or Indo-Greek than Kushan to me.

Okay, I was thinking that something with the wear didn't look right to me.

This does not fit with any of the Kushan coins known to me.
