A nice discovery today! What grade do you give it?

Nice looking Key Date coin.

A bit of 'wood grain', the 'mark' across the 'E' in CENT, keeps it from a better grade but, still looks like EF40 to me.

There is no real evidence of a cleaning in hand. Likely my crappy photography skills making it look that way.

If it hasn't been cleaned, XF-40. Nice find! Roll hunting?

EF-40 and does not look cleaned, only lighting in the photo makes it look so.

IMHO your very nice find is VF-35 and I don't think it has been cleaned.
Great find.

I wish everyone used all the digits on the Sheldon scale. I like this coin at XF-47 myself.

Nice, grainy, problem-free key. EF40 looks good on it.
