I found a 1900 O morgan in my grandfather's collection. I think there is a little extra silver on the edge. I have arrows indicating to the spots where I think this is. If anyone has information it would be help

Can't tell exactly what it is from the fuzzy picture... possibly from a die clash?

Pictures aren't good but the "extra metal" might be rim Cuds. Can't tell what if anything is going on with the U.

The extra metal you are pointing to on the rim could be Cuds but it is hard to tell from your photos to be sure. The ones I have seen usually fill into and cover the denticles though.

The area above the cap near the letter "U" is usually prone to die cracks and I have a couple of different date/ mm that have a slightly displaced surface from the crack. I am not familiar with this date/ mm however. I suggest you check out VAM world to see if yours matches any known die variety.

These are rim Cuds, but not deep enough to reach the field where there would be a VAM designation for this type of error..
However VAM 23 shows this same senerio of Cud.. the main point is your coin is a near date with a high "O" wich matches the discription for the VAM 23 series...
only VAM 23 and VAM 23A have the rim Cud, all others
do not show the rim extrusion material/cud..Your pictures are not clear enough to identify any die cracks on the reverse or the Obverse either. you have it in had so you make the final analysis..or post clean clear close up pics....Gene
