I posted about this recent acquisition in another thread, but I I thought it would be fun to let everybody share their favorite die cracks. This particular coin has more die cracks than any other coin I own:

Show-Us-Your-Die-Cracks! Show-Us-Your-Die-Cracks!

At first, I thought some of the die cracks were actually just scratches, but then I found another example of the same coin and it had identical "scratches."

So... What have you got? What are your favorite die cracks? What's the most die cracks you have seen on a single coin? And do you actually like die cracks or think they take away from the beauty of the coin [I like them, personally]?

Wow! Is that first one even really a die crack? It looks like somebody just soldered some extra silver onto it...

Very impressive!

My photography and paint skills leave much to be desired but here goes:

Australian Penny - 5 reverse die cracks (the most on one coin I have)
Show-Us-Your-Die-Cracks!

Australian Half Penny - 2 obverse die cracks (my thickest)
Show-Us-Your-Die-Cracks!

Australian Shilling - 1 reverse die crack (my favourite because it looks like the kangaroo has been speared)
Show-Us-Your-Die-Cracks!

All up I like die cracks. They give a coin character and uniqueness.

Notice the displacement in the middle of IGWT. The center of the die has also collapsed away causing the loss of detail there.
