if you can heat and separate the edge with the "buttons", you "might" be able to reuse them 1-2 times.

"snap lid" then as long as you don't throw them, drop them, or leave them in a hot car, they should last a few years at least. As with coins, it will probably depend greatly on how they are stored.

I used to get these from the Canadian banks when I would roll search pennies and nickels (lived near the border). I thought they were a great idea.
