Hello Canadian_Paper!
What you have is not a collection - It is an accumulation. Here is the difference: A collection is organized and an accumulation is not. How you choose to organize is totally up to you.
By separating the coins by country and identifying them, you will have a collection. One option.
And you will have, in the end, way more that $30 worth of fun! Not to mention the education that you will earn by doing so.

Just found out that one of the coins in the picture with all the coins not in bags, is silver. Its the peso in the bottom right corner. Bronze outer rim with silver in the middle. Off to a good start!

that is an awesome little pile you have there. I love going through world coins looking for different typs I don't have. And I can easily be happy without a drop of silver. Adding 50, 100, 200 (?) coins to a collection is plenty of satisfaction. I don't need no silver.

Great buy. was it online, store, flea market, other? I have been up in the $6-8 range per pound, shipped. Kudos.
