Oh I like that 1899, nice strike on that one. You might be able to clean it up a bit with some Verdi-Care.

the 74 is attractive & problem free - should go for solid G6 money. the 99 has problems as stated by 52Raymo.

Where abouts would I get Verdi-Care? Would a super store such as Wal-mart carry it?

Awesome. Not bad for a bargain bag of coins for $10 :D

verdi care is on ebay for sure
don't sell them - album, one day to your son and grandson - not a bad heirloom for $10
happy belated birthday
nice coins and even nicer father

FYI - "front" = Obverse, "back" = Reverse - might as well learn the lingo if your getting in the game

Hi, Delareece, Nice pick up for $10.00.

Yeah, like the others said, the 1874 is probably your best coin, looks G6 about right, and Happy Birthday also.

Dearly noted ;)

I wasn't planning on selling them anyways. Just wanted to know the value. I'm fairly young (turned 20), so I still have many years ahead to make my collection grow. I already have, I'd estimate, over 1000 coins from around the world (not all are catalogued yet, however).

Decent start to a IHC collection, and your Dad got a good buy,
The 1899 looks VF-35 to me, the 1874 looks VG-8.
