If that is possible,
I Placed an order with the mint on August 9th
All items were in stock, But unlike most members here I do not like to be forced to be home to sign for packages.
So I reduced the order from $325 to $250 knowing it would be on the slow boat.
But never thought it would be this slow.
Shipping Email stated Shipped at 3:03 PM on Tuesday 8/14,which is their standard daily shipping run.
Tracking shows Arrived At Fedex 8/16 at 10:15 PM. So where do you suppose it was for those 31 hours and 12 minutes?
It has currently worked its way to West Virginia for an estimated 8/23 delivery Only 9 days to come the 1000 miles to Maine

You could carve yourself whatever coins you wanted with a pocket knife before their ground service gets there. Someone literally has to be walking the package from place to place its really quite sad.

It has always taken my packages 7-10 days to get to MA..."Smart" Post is not a very fast service. I have learned not to expect it ANY sooner.

One thing I have noticed was that when PBGS prints a FedEx request it is up to them (FedEx) to pick it up...my last package sat for 2 days before making its' way to FedEx stop one....

Smartpost = SLOWPOST!! I hate it that they use this service to ship coins. I have a 2012-W ASE on subscription, and I still do not have it, and it shipped the better part of 2 weeks ago!!

Yea its who ships all the mint products. Its pretty much the slowest shipping service the world has ever known including the pony express.

Pitney Bowes Government Solutions, a division of Pitney Bowes Management Services works with many federal agencies to overcome these hurdles so they ...blah, blah, blah.

What I hate about them (PBGS) is they ship my mint purchases via fedex "smartpost" because I have a PO Box. I live in a small town, and home delivered mail is a luxary we do not get! I have to use a PO Box, and pay for the privelage!

Fexdex picks up the shipment and dumps it off at the post office. It takes FOREVER!

So last year when I bought $1500.00 worth of 25th annie sets, I qualified for the free overnight shipping. BUT....I did not get it thanks to FedEx SLOWPOST. The shipment took forever and gave Fedex and the USPS more time to beat the stuffin' out of my box! It If you can't tell, I have some issues with the mint's choice of shippers.
