Would this be considered a die chip or something else. Thanks!

It is in an odd spot to be a die chip. Is it raised or indented?

John, somehow that penny must have slipped back into the pile I had already searched through. As soon as I go through them again...I will answer your question. Darn...I hate that that happened. Maybe I'm suppose to look through the pile again...I may have missed something the first time. Who knows!

John, no it is not raised. When looking through the loop it looks like an indent. Microscope makes it look raised.

Thanks for checking. Here is a suggestion, when I post a photo of a coin or just post a question I put that coin aside for a few days...just in case.

Looks like a bag mark from another coin.

Raised on the coin: die issue.
Indented on the coin: damage or a struck through error. It just depends on what it looks like. On a struck through error it would have a normal reverse in that area. Damaged it would be slightly bent or raised on the reverse in that area. A coin bag mark may/may not show on the reverse.
