This is currently reduced from $23,500! http://www.ebay.com/itm/FREE-SHIPPI...em231ad77715

Was just curious what your thoughts on this very prominent doubling of the date- is this legit doubling or Machine Doubling? I don't recall a DDO 1926 in the Cherrypicker's guide.

Even the best Buffalo nickel DDO, the 16/16, in BU doesn't command this BIN price!

Wow! It's gone on sale for half price.

I think I'll wait for further reductions.

If somebody actually bought that $2 coin in the price range offered, the seller doesn't mind if he gets banned by ebay. Frankly, I'd be ashamed to show my face in public after something like that, as well.

As everyone else here realizes, the seller's BIN was a bit off, to say the least. It's not a bad coin though. It does have more prominent doubling than what you usually find on Machine Doubling and the piece is in good shape. I think it is legitimately a $15 coin to the right collector. So he's really only off by 23,485.
