Im looking at this Seated quarter and I'm trying to figure out whats happening on the reverse of this coin.

Its pretty obvious, but check out the rim between the middle and bottom arowheads. Also check out between the E and R in America.

Is this post mint damage or maybe some crazy die clash? Not versed in Seated varieties.

Cool. Thanks guys.

Can anyone point me in the best direction for some good reading on Seated varieties? Quarters specifically if such a book exists?

I know that for Bust halves, its the Overton book... I also know that some people are very into the varieties of Seated coinage, but whats the bible of this subject for someone like me who is new to the series?
