Technically I think that both the obverse and reverse are MS64 but reverse appears to be DMPL and the obverse may only be semi PL. This would be a candidate for a reverse side up in a slab. Great looking early "S" mint Morgan!

MS-64PL that reverse is sure nice (as so many are) if the front was as strong it might go deep mirror, but only PL at the most, I'm inclined to think most TPG's would not call this coin PL even, I'm more agreement with dave700x for sure.

I am still not sure that the Obverse would even be considered PL because I have had plenty of Morgans in my collection that I thought should have been at least PL and the TPG's disagree and these coins all have shown more mirrors than your Obverse does so I am still on the fence on the Obverse of your coin. The DMPL of the Reverse may be enough to take up the slack of the Obeverse for the TPG and make it a PL designated coin but if both were like the Obverse it wouldn't have a chance at a PL designation in my opinion

MS-64 PL, possible DMPL. Would need more pictures. I might not know much about the PL/DMPL but to me it looks like very deep mirrors.

You might want to take it down and try to get more 'perfect' pics or even get it slabbed...if this is a high $ coin.

It's about an $80 coin if not at least PL, and a $150 coin if it actually *is* PL. I'm pretty certain the obverse doesn't make PL - I don't see enough reflectivity to clearly read newsprint in it at all, much less the distance required for PL.

I was going to get it slabbed.. But after reading posts on here I though I would just take a chance on ebay rather than spend the $50 to have it slabbed. Thanks for the advice though!
