How much do you guys think it will cost to send a morgan into pcgs/ngc through a coin/jewelry dealer?

In the past fortnight I have sent my first coin to PCGS through a dealer here in Australia. He charged $60 for the submission plus postage and insurance. All up it cost me roughly $90. Depending on the value of your coin it may or may not be worth it an if youre planning on sending coins in for grading in the future you may look at a membership yourself.

If you can find a dealer who is pcgs or NGC certified, ask them if you can include a few coins in a bulk submission.
This is how I send my coins in and it usually costs me $12 per coin.

Itll honestly depend on the dealer, some will try and make money off it and others will charge cost. None bulk prices at cost will be between $30-50 for one coin and if its a modern you can add to that at $15-20 dollars a coin

Mine charges me cost...plus a little shipping. About $14 per coin for PCGS. Just sent a GSA CC Morgan in to NGC, but that costs just a little more.

Holy cow enworb! Had no idea it was that expensive in OZ.

If I were a knowledgeable collector in OZ, I'd start an Australian Version of PCGS.

Is there an Aussie equivalent to PCGS or NGC?

There have been three grading services in Australia but nothing on the par with PCGS.

If you are planning on submitting multiple coins over time, and NGC is acceptable for you, another course is to become an ANA member which will allow you to submit directly to NGC.

Not sure what they charge but just noticed today that silver towne allows you to submit through them and they will even give an opinion on whether or not its worth the cost. Theyre members with pcgs ngc and I think cac too if applicable
