I did notice though, that at the more upscale grocery stores, I usually get some dirty looks for getting on my knees and reaching under the machine! Report this Post to the Staff
SilverRoosevelt Pillar of the Community United States 917 Posts	Posted 10/28/2018 6:10 pm I went grocery shopping today and as I entered the store, I noticed someone dumping coins into the store's Coinstar machine. I made a mental note to revisit the machine to check the reject tray. As I was exiting the store, I pulled what was in the reject tray and I found: 14 Lincoln cents A 1979 British Penny A 2 Euro Cent Coin A clad Roosevelt dime *A 1943-P War Nickel. I thought it was a beat-up Jefferson until I saw 1943 on the obverse and the P above Monticello on the reverse. This is my first War Nickel in quite a while, so I was happy to find it. Larryh86GT Valued Member United States 327 Posts	Posted 10/29/2018 08:22 am It's been awhile since I have had any luck at my local machine but yesterday when I walked by it there was a little over a dollar in change in the reject bin. I scooped it up and then did my shopping. On the way out I walked by it again and in the bin were 2 silver dimes - a 1957 and an 1964. Sweet! Report this Post to the Staff

It seemed like she was putting them in individually. I actually walked away from the machine to go have lunch and she was still there when I returned. She finishes up and I see she doesn't check the reject tray Thank God. I actually thought there would be more in there but very satisfied with 3 silver Roosys. Report this Post to the Staff
