I've been on a serious drought lately with finds (most likely there's an employee who gets to the reject bin before me) so today after finding nothing yet again I decided to leave my own garbage for him to enjoy- two worthless tokens I can't even identify the origin of and two pennies stuck together with gum.

Right in my stomping grounds! No fair!

Nice find!

Curious, where was it found? Was it a Bi-Lo?

Yes - Bi-Lo near Laurens Road. I didn't find it. A lady that works for me has family down there and she knows to look for stuff whenever she goes in a store. She brought it back and gave to me.

Ah! Good to have friends on the hunt.

That Bi-Lo is not far from work. I have actually used that machine to make a dump before.

I have not been in there in a while, but I do check the machines at other Bi-Lo locations (hence the guess).

Now I know why I never find anything... I got competition!

We forgot to buy a can of chicken broth when we went to the store yesterday, so I had to go back this afternoon.

After checking out I meandered over the the Coin Star machine. I pulled out two horrid zinc cents and this lovely.

It is my second silver in two weeks and number five for the year from that machine.

It's a good thing since my metal detecting trips have been pretty much non-existent this year. At least I'm finding silver somewhere!

Something you can do is go to the customer help desk and ask to search the coinstar bags. They will sometimes let you, and if you ask for halves, you can find silver!
