It was international day at the local Stop and Shop Coinstar! In addition to $0.13 US, there was representation from Canada (one loonie, three quarters, and a dime), Great Britain (one penny), Europe (5 Euro cents), and Costa Rica (25 colones):

A late night trip to the store yielded a 2013 New Hampshire Quarter, a 1996 Canadian 10 cents and, a new one for me, a 2003 5 centavos from Ecuador.

There were also three truly horrid Zincolns that deserved to be in the reject bin.

Great finds berto!

During my weekly CoinStar run today, I found 7 cents. Not much, but free money is always great, since I live very frugally and save any coins I find. No pictures for this one, since it's not too big of a deal.

Don't people check the reject tray after putting coins through? Maybe they thought the Merc dime was a foreign coin.

Kopper Ken, most of the time they do, but there are a few that don't care and just leave whatever is there in the reject bin.

Last night the coinstar at our local Walmart had 1 US dime and 1 Canadian dime sitting on the counter near the tipping tray, so I scooped up the two dimes on my way by the machine...I could not stand the thought of those two orphans being alone without other coins nearby :)
