Coinstar Finds! (Including Bank Counters And Other Machines)

I haven't had the kinds of amazing hauls some of you guys have had, but I still found a 1977 Canadian quarter in a Coinstar machine on Friday!

Local Walmart was busy today. I walked past the Coinstar, got three clad dimes, one clad cent and this 1944 P nickel 35% silver. Melt value today is $1.35, less the wear.

Had a couple come and cash in some change at the machine (a couple of 5 gallon buckets worth) and tell a teller they have saved change for around 20 years. I pulled the change bags that afternoon. around $15 face value mostly Roosevelt dimes, some mercs and silver quarters.

I usually get around 3 or 4 silver dimes per bag.
Quarters have gotten really rare, 1 or 2 every 3 or 4 bags.
silver halves are almost non existent.
But this is the best score ive gotten at once since working at the bank.

Now that's a haul. Excellent.
