For you skeptics, I did actually find this in a Walmart CoinStar reject slot, 4 days ago. At first glance I thought it was a Chuck-E-Cheese or similar token but fortunately not. After confirming the weight was correct at 6.72 grams I concluded this is a genuine Netherlands 10 Gulden gold coin from 1875. You can bet I'll be more diligent about checking local CoinStars, at least until the buzz wears off! Report this Post to the Staff

And, you'll be happy to know that the buzz really never goes away. Many here know of my big CoinStar story... As 2017 wound to an end, I had an early Christmas present (2 days early to be precise) courtesy of my nearest CoinStar... an early morning (8am-ish) visit to my local supermarket (I was actually trying to beat the crowd and get in to buy a couple of gift cards for family members for Christmas) and it's CoinStar reject bin found one chock full of coins, including 37 silver quarters and 34 silver dimes, along with several nice foreign coins. http://goccf.com/t/128850&whichpage=161#2595866 I still can't believe this happened to me over 5 1/2 years later!
