Thursday night I went to a meeting and on the way home stopped off at a store I seldom go to. Hit the silver dime. First silver since June 25. Since then I found two clad dimes, two copper Memorial Lincolns, three zinc Lincolns and this stuff: So $0.35 more to the Salvation Army jar. I'm way ahead of last year's total already.

Found a handful of change in the Coinstar reject slot at my local Vons. Around $2.80 in change plus a single 1952-S silver Roosevelt dime. Hey, if someone is willing to leave money in the slot I'm willing to pick it up.

Jaobler, something like that happened to me at my local VONS last month... $2.25 in quarters including a silver 64-D and two Canadian ones early one Saturday morning. Congrats!

Nice finds, but of you! I am still coming up empty on the Coinstar. I know there has to be rejects, but I think one of the bag boys is getting them before me.

I found a 1995 Memorial reverse Lincoln Cent in the Coinstar at my local supermarket today - not unusual, you might say, but this is in England! There was also a washer but I left it in the reject bin!

A 51 D dime, a 69 penny with more craters than the surface of the moon, and some zinc last night.

I haven't had much luck recently until this haul :D The silver is great, but I was pretty thrilled with the 5 jiao coin as I had wanted that for a while.
