Just visited the RCM site and saw that the design for the next '20 For 20' coin is a "Magical Reindeer." It Looks pretty good -- could be a nice stocking stuffer! It's scheduled to ship 1 November. Collecting history one coin or medal at a time! (c) commems. All rights reserved.

I didn't see a mintage listed. I'm guessing it will be 250,000.

Can someone please confirm if this is part of the subscription, or whether we have to order this one separately?

When I bought the $20 Farewell to the Penny, I also got the subscription which said, "$20 FOR $20 RESERVATION OFFER : DON'T MISS OUT ON THE NEXT $20 FOR $20 COIN CELEBRATING THE HOLIDAY SEASON"
I assume, therefore, that this reindeer coin is the one they are referring to in the description.
However I bought the subscription with the Polar Bear $20; received the Queen Jubillee $20 but not the Farewell to the Penny. My experience is that the subscription will automatically send the next coin coming out, but not the third.

I had to laugh. I ordered it a week ago and will have 3 coming. My wife said it is the splattered reindeer. She has seen too many road kill deer on the highway. This is sold separately.

This is going to be very interesting if they keep this up indefinitely. It seems clear they are planning it as such. I can imagine special display cases being made for this series. Quote:

Ooo that would suck. Did you order outside the subscription? I can see a non-subscription order canceling the subscription.

If it is scheduled to ship Nov 1 , is that the same as the public release date?

Quote: Ooo that would suck. Did you order outside the subscription? I can see a non-subscription order canceling the subscription. I waited until many other people were getting their "Farewell to the Penny" orders. Then I got at least three shipping confirmation emails that the original Polar Bear coins had shipped. I emailed the RCM about it and never got a reply. I called the RCM and they said it was processing. After awhile I just gave up and placed an order for the "Farewell to the Penny" plus the new subscription and received those coins shortly thereafter. I have looked at some of my other order's status on the tracking part of the website and there are a few that I have received all of the items that online still show them as "processing" or "partially shipped" or "new order." There seems to be quite a disconnect between the website and email updates and the actual shipping of the orders.

Not sure why anybody has not yet uploaded the photo. Its not a secret or per-release or anything like that. http://www.mint.ca/store/coin/20-fi...-prod1530001 As for it being part of the $ 20 for $ 20 subscription found here: http://www.mint.ca/store/coin/2012-...-prod1240001The answer is no. Spoke to two mint reps. Both said that the same. Also, the mint's website was very clear. "Never miss out on a $20 for $20 by subscribing to the next two coin launches for 2012 (does not include the Polar Bear coin)." The first of the two coins was the Queen's jubilee, the second was the farewell to the penny.

I agree not part of the subscription that started with the polar bear but is part of the subscription offered when the farewell to the penny was bought.
This is what was on my order request confirmation when I added the subscription when I purchased the farewell to the Penny:
$20 FOR $20 RESERVATION OFFER : DON'T MISS OUT ON THE NEXT $20 FOR $20 COIN CELEBRATING THE HOLIDAY SEASON No.122206

IMO, this could be the worst design yet. At least the Queen looked like the Queen. This one looks like the contorted reindeer is trying to kiss his own a....
I think they might have put on a new subscription because the last one was so messed up. I had two subscriptions and was also able to order 3 additional coins, so I actually got 9 coins instead of the limit of 3. This time, I can only order 3 (which is plenty).

just confirmed with the RCM. It's not part of the subscription that was with the polar bear.
