IMO, the coin does not appear to be genuine. Struck counterfeit maybe?

I agree. There is something about it that doesn't look right. Where is the reverse pic? This coin must be certified.

Doesn't look right to me. Even the reeding seems odd from that perspective.

Not the real deal here. The shield is far too strong and the hair detail is not right.

All of you are correct. Yes, I bought this...and the first spot in the album will be filled with this. I just don't see spending 10K for an XF (IF you can find one) to fill the spot.

Cast fake - not very convincing. I suspect if you shop around you can find a better facsimile

That's awesome! I have all of my "relicas" in my actual Dansco 7070, and I have a 1916 in the Type I spot as well.
