I have a suspicious looking mint mark but not sure if it's one of the VAMs listed in the subject line...


any help is much appreciated

Far date, obviously, but beyond this you're going to have to make the call with greater magnification than shown here. Have a look at the listed die markers for 3, 4B and 4D - which all seem to have the right-displaced mint mark I see here - and see if you can identify any of the listed details.

Hi. Unfortuneletly the 84-s series is NOT well documented...
I would post your photo's and also look for any of the above mentioned possible VAM attributes to VAM World as those who hold those actual Vams, can only be the ones to help...the photo's are very inconclusive, by the date and mint mark placement alone, which is usually the best starting point in surmizing what a VAM could be...Gene
