Hi from Wisconsin where the trees are beautiful right now. Cleaning up after a relative who passed on I came across a box of NYC Tokens. They are 10 to a sealed plastic bag. Is there any market out there for them or should I just keep them as keepsakes?
Thanks for any advice.

I'll bet there are lots of different NYC tokens. A little more information would be helpful but pictures would be best. Also .

These NYC tokens cost .90 cents when purchased before Jan 1, 1986 when the cost went to $1.00. They are made of brass and have a solid NYC printed on both sides. I have nineteen sealed plastic Metro bags each containing ten tokens and probably another 50 tokens loose. The plastic bags have a large M in blue and black and have the statement printed on the bag "PLEASE COUNT&EXAMINE TOKENS BEFORE OPENING." I'm still trying to load pictures but not having any luck even with the Image Optimizer.

Put your pics on photobucked.com first and then from photobucket to here. John1

Yeah I remember using those, we switched to plastic Metro Cards a long time ago.. Miss those old tokens, in fact I wish I would have hoarded a few hundred of them away, after seeing what they are selling for on ebay

those tokens are selling on ebay? I have a bunch. my dad used to work in the city and when he would come home they would be with the change in his pocket and end up in the change jar. maybe I should sell a few and turn the cash into silver :)
