Every time they do this, threads about it pop up at coin forums all over the Internet, and get page views from some of the most sharply-focused demographic they can ask for. Dumb like fox, if you ask me.

The Half Disme is only an MS65...forget it. Then he has a PCGS MS65+ 1918/7-D Buff...no eye-appeal. Also, that MS67 1907 $10 looks cleaned...

If I was going to spend money on it I would want a lot of the facts about it confirmed. I don't know the dealer, may just be a publicity stunt. I aint't got that sort of money to spend on coins anyway.

A publicity stunt is exactly what it is, of course. For those who are unaware, the seller here is Rare Coin Wholesalers, Steve Contursi's company. In a world of high-end coinsellers, they are probably the highest-end of all. They've handled two of the three largest-ever US single coin transactions. He's handled the "EB" Brasher Dubloon, the King of Siam Proof Set, and the 1794 Silver Dollar considered the very first Dollar ever minted in America. Go check out the inventory on their website.
