I picked up this coin last year and was wondering what sort of grading everyone would give it

Yeah, great coin but I don't think(IMO) you can grade much higher.

Having a second look I think its closer to aEF than EF. There also seems to be several light parallel hairlines on the obverse. Most noticeably at the G in George but around most of the legend.

Very desirable and scarce coin. Grading wise, I agree with enworb.
This would be a good coin to build a pre decimal type set with, each type represented with a scarce date.

Things like this '33 shilling, then a '32 florin, a Centenary florin, a '46 penny, a '25 penny, a plain '42 threepence and including a full 1910 silver sub type set.
I completed a type set like this, many years ago.
A rather obtuse way to collect, I suppose. Saves having to bother with the common date coins.

Sounds like a unique way of collecting and an interesting concept.
I have all them coins in not so flash grade minus the 34-35 florin ( I traded that for some nice commemorative florins I actually like ).
I do rather like getting a full date set of everything I collect, so that concept may come at a later date when I finally finish upgrading what I have
This coin looks to be Ef with a hint of a dip/scrub at some stage.
It is by far a better coin than the scabby 1933 shilling I have at the moment.
Nice coin Steve
I am going to have to buy myself a balaclava and raid your collection.
You have some stunning coins Mate

Strangely enough I have headed in the same direction by collecting highgrade multiples of those and other rare dates. It makes a lot of sense to me
