Thanks Buddy. I have been working on this one for over a year now. Trying to get very high grade coins. That first page is a lot more expensive than one might think. LOL And I just ordered the last two from Scanlons Coins on ebay. So will be truly complete in a few days.

Congrats! That set in higher grades isn't as easy as most folks think! I like your 'SMS' notation!

AWESOME!! Great looking set, smokeriderdon -- you have some beauties in there!
I'm still plodding through mine...hope to have it done in the next year or so. I'm working on one from circulation and one of BU/Proof specimens. I always enjoy the inspiration of someone who's already crossed the finish line. Well done!

Smokerider, I don't have any "uncirculated" coins as such, but I get 2011-Ds that are on their first go-round through my drawer all the time (and by "first go-round" I mean "no dings, still bright and shiny, etc."). I'd be happy to keep my eye out for a few days and grab one for you.

Congrats on this milestone! I'm close to filling my 8113. I still need to belly up and get a 39-S.

Congratulations, very nice looking set. I still have some early ones to upgrade before mine is all Unc/Prf like that one but the jefferson is a really great looking coin in those conditions. On a side note to that I HATE the newer obverse, whoever decided to replace the obverse permanently with that mickey mouse token face should be dipped in honey and buried halfway in the desert sand next to fire ant hills.

NICE! Curious how your 1939 coins stack up, as far as the "Reverse of 40"? I believe there are PDS, reverse of 39, and, PDS, reverse of 40 options..google this topic, and, you can pullup pics of the steps to identify these...tough on worn coins, easy on VF on up... Also, any DDO / DDR/RPM/OMM's in your album...? http://www.pcgs.com/Prices/PriceGui...erson+NickelCurious Cal

Great set! One of my favorites, and I am sure you found out like me, that this set is alot harder to put together than one might think! Finding very high quality nickels in a PM driven market is frustrating. Dealers look at you like you have two heads if you come looking for nickels, especially high grade nickels.
