Im relatively new to selling on ebay and would like some input if you don't mind. What do you think of my three listings ? What would you do differently ? I like a Sunday afternoon time for an ending but maybe you guys have a better listing time. Thanks, here's my listings... http://www.ebay.com/sch/merchant/52raymo/Oregon coin geek.....*** GO BEAVS ! ! ! ***

New? You have 540 feedbacks. Your auctions look fine. Just make sure to put coins in the proper category. If I sell silver coins, I always put "old U.S. 90% silver coin" in the title for more search hits. If I'm doing .99 cent starts like yours, I do a 7 day auction, and usually start on Saturday. If it's a more important coin, I always pay the extra .40 cents and do a 10 day.

When you say proper category do you mean I have mine in the wrong place ? I have the title as Indian Head cent.

Oh ok. As for my reasoning to do a 3 day listing, I know how I hate waiting 5-7 days for a listing to end. I prefer to snipe and I think the majority of buyers do that. At least in my experience as a buyer all the action occurs in the last 5 seconds lol.

For cheaper coins like those I only look at free shipping auctions. Those can ship for the price of a stamp. It's a matter of principle for me--yes I'm a bit strange. Just some info that may be helpful--I cant be the only one thinking along these lines. Also, your auctions look great and good luck!

Nice clear pic's, No BS or that annoying multicolor text in the description. Looks like a good honest "What you see is what you get" listing I would however offer a returns policy, you haven't done this.

Quote: At least in my experience as a buyer all the action occurs in the last 5 seconds lol. True, but with a 3-day listing you give up 4 days' chance for people to find your auction.

Thanks guys. Henry I probly will do free ship next time. I'm going to send them out in bubble packages as I have a ton and it actually costs that much.

I have a 14 day return policy, at least I can see it on the listing. I'll go check again.

I enjoy cruising ebay and looking for deals. I got these for 3.51 each and it's fun trying to flip them to see if better pics can make a difference on how much they fetch. These were part of a lot of six that the guy just didn't wanna deal with I guess. Not looking to get rich, just sumpin to do.
