The bust suggests a very crude rendering of QEII of Britain.
Perhaps play money?

its the best photo I have at the moment. will keep searching, but as you can imagine using search criteria "copper" and "1" have returned 10,000s of results!

I have never seen that type of edge used on a coin, it almost looks like the back was folded over the front. Is the "1" on the reverse inset?, it kinda appears to be. I am thinking maybe an old button.

Appears there was a shank on the right picture. The filigree around the left picture may suggest a button.
