I would send him another e-mail requesting the coins once more. If not then ebay has a way that you can handle it properly. It just takes some time. Hope this helps. http://pages.ebay.com/help/tp/inr-s...process.html-GO Everyone watch out for this shady eBayer. His rating is high but with a large number of Neutral and Negative feedback

Ty, It took him 3+months to get me a small lot of morgans, "due to the rise in silver price" this was a few years ago and $$$ jumped like $3 in 2 days and he complained about the "loss of money" finally I theatened to file a charge back on my CC (I bought from his website) coins arrived a few days after the threat. IMO you are better off not receiving the coin b/c I am almost certain you will NOT receive the coin that you bid on. He uses stock photos of BU coins and send out dipped/whizzed garbage. Good luck. I also raised hell and threw his name on every coin board and politely sent him a link...I advise you to send him to this forum.

Still no coins. This is getting rediculous. I sent mikescoins1 the following: mikescoins1, Item # 140051673817 and 140092720617 were purchased by me on March 6th. Payment via paypal was made shortly after this date and has cleared. I still have not received the items. The tracking information states: The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on March 13, 2007 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. No further information is available for this item. When should I be expecting to receive these items? Aftere viewing your feedback, most buyers received their items in only a week. Again I would like to remind you I have not received the items I bought. Can you please notify me what has/has not been done? Should they have been here by now or should we be useing the insurance purchased to collect losses? Thanks, Ty

Lots of luck with this guy. The picture of your Franklin is the SAME picture of the one I bought from him. When it finally arrived it was F-12 with scratches. No response to requests for a refund. This guy should be banned from ebay!

This seller has a number of auctions. At one time I even thought about buying a coin or two because of the price, but I guess I will pass. This seller has 113 negs in the last 12 months. It's important to check their feedback before you place a bid.

Open a Paypal dispute immediately. When a buyer pays via Paypal, the seller is required by Paypal rules to ship within 7 days of receiving payment. I would not wait any longer. You only have 45 days from the day you sent your payment to open a dispute. Edited to add: I just looked at his feedback. Quite frankly I wouldn't recommend that anyone buy from this seller. His feedback rating is very low and his auctions are misleading. Most have stock pictures. If you open a Paypal dispute, you should win with no problem. He is already in violation of their rules and will not have confirmation that you received the coins. You should also get your shipping back. Be sure to open your dispute with Paypal before opening one with ebay. If you open one with ebay, the Paypal dispute will be put off and that is the one that will get your money back for you.

Thanks so much, Susan. I will do this right now since he hasn't replied to that email. Ty
Also, Should I email him that I'm doing this? Like say, since you didn't follow the paypal rules, I will do this or that?

Susan, your a wise woman. I opened my very first paypal dispute. This is what my message entailed: I have waited a few days short of a month to receive the items I bought from you. I have only received one email from you compaired to the three I sent you. You wont notify me of any status regarding my shippment. I need the items I have been politely waiting for within seven days or I would like a complete refund. ebay username: tynotecollector Item Numbers: 140051673817 & 140092720617Purchase date: 6 March 2007 Paypal payment date: 7 March 2007 Items still not received: 4 April 2007 Regards, Ty Do you suppose he was thinking I'm a new-b and would get away with this by waiting tell after the 45 day mark? Thanks, Ty

It's going on five weeks and still no coins. He hasn't responded to the paypal dispute or any emails. Any suggestions on what I should do now? Thanks, Ty

If you have much time and do notlike to be defrauded you can go to small claims court in the town where you live and file against the defrauder . I understand the procedure is free and he will be condemned to pay you Whether he really pays you is another matter .

He has a certain amount of time to respond to Paypal before Paypal automatically refunds your money. I think it might be 2 weeks, but I'm not sure.

So wait the two weeks that he has to respond to the dispute then turn it into a claim and have them investigate it. And if he doesn't respond to them in two weeks they refund the money?
Also, How is this going to affect the seller? Will the money be refunded to me and taken away from him? Does Paypal do anything to show mikescoins1 that he was wrong and possibly punished? Thanks for your help, Ty

Ok, I FINALLY got an email from the guy.
Ty, I had sent you several emails about this. We did ship this 3/13 as stated, it has apparently gotten lost in the mail. Now that we have your approval we will reship this. We apologize for the postal service's loss of your package. Mike's Coins
This was sent by a different email than he used before. He said he emailed me before, but I searched my entire inbox and spam folder and I didn't find a single email from him. I wonder if he thought I was just going to call it a loss and high tail my butt home or something? Ty

I certainly wouldn't close my Paypal dispute until I received the coins.

I agree. He said the coins have been sent again since the last ones were lost in the mail. I still have the dispute open and if I don't have the coins the day before the dispute ends, I'm going to turn her into a claim. I kind of hope I get the resent ones and the lost ones. Because this guys a jerk. However, I highly doubt he even sent the first ones... Ty
