Again a disclosure that I neither know the entity that has listed this nor have I bought from them nor is there anything of interest for me to buy from them. However I must admit that I admire people who take pains to put good descriptions and images to share with everyone even if their purpose is to sell the coin or advertise or draw attention. Perhaps this is because I am still trying to find the right way to capture great images of my collection. Or perhaps I might never be able to get many of these beauties in my collection. So in that regard the e-bay listing in question in my neck of the woods is a great service to the hobby regardless of the price it is listed for.

On the issue at hand - One possibility why the listing was shifted was perhaps a result of this discussion. The original listing is gone but from what I see the original listing was:

"Canada 10 cents ERROR 1961 Upside down 1 UNIQUE unpublished"

The revised listing is:

"Canada 10 cents - ERROR - 1961 - Upside down date - RARE ZOELL H284a"

Clearly it seems that the listing detail has been improved. There is nothing to deceive here that I see.

The other listing shows as:

"Canada 1961 Dime 10 cents Zoell P284q "Upside Down 1" Error"

Is there an error in one of the e-bay listings or are there two varieties H284a, P284q? Perhaps that's what the difference might be.

I am just the messanger

In the 1965 book, Zoell listed two: the H284q and the p284q. They have similar but different cracks. In 1970 he listed an FH284n: an inverted 7. The H284a may be from another edition. Unfortunately the later editions did not recapture all the varieties from the earlier editions.
