coin doesn't look really worn so I wouldnt think it was just rubbed off over years? any feedback?

I'd keep it for awhile.

I'm curious about that caterpillar on Mr. Lincoln's ear.

Also, 'LIBERTY' goes from fat to skinny.

Thanks for the feedback Buddy. Yes I noticed that too. I was thinking it looked like a double in a couple of area's. Ill get some closer pics for you guys soon and maybe get some more comments on this. Thanks again.

I have the same coin it's not worn a misprint it's a 1980 mine his mouth is gone to

Over polished dies for the 70's decade are quite common. Some are pretty severe though - coop as some really good ones - they can get pretty strange looking. Some of us keep a separate collection of these "Unusual / Odd" coins. Just depends on what you like.

gerc1964, Might start a new topic for your coin since your describing a different year. This die has been polished pretty good. Probably to remove die clash marks. The mid devices meaning back end of liberty, Lincoln's face and neck are showing heavy die polishing.
