I thought it was a little weird that I got something this age, that looks so good, in change today. It's not common for this to happen with me. The pictures don't do this coin justice.

There are nice coins to be found in circulation. Hold on to it and keep your eyes peeled for others.

Good luck.
Rest in Peace

I see it has a couple of dings but they are small. It shows no sign of wear from what I can see. It must have been in a change jar for a really long time.

I used to go through lots of nickel rolls back in '74- '76. I wanted to make a roll set of all the dates in circulation. Of course the '50-D, '39-D etc were impossible but I got most of it including a whole roll of '71-P's that looked like this. It's a tough date.

Now days there are a lot of tough dates and some are very hard to find in BU rolls.
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.

I found an '87-D yesterday, that literally made my jaw drop. Had to call the Mrs. on her last day of work, forever. I've tried countless pics w/a new camera.Problem is, it was a webcam, a gift. With a sharp focus, there are white pixels moving all over the image. Dont know the shutter-bug lingo to accompany this post. The coin, however, came outta the roll, outshing the '11 & '12s, with a blinding luster.A complete set of steps crowns this jewel, with nary a blemish.
