I find it a bit difficult (for a second or two) to see the ram on my Denali-D business strike Quarters because they're so shiny (no such problem on the Proofs or hockey puck, of course!).
One year without animal designs won't kill us...

I have to vote either. It really depends what it is. If theres an iconic animal or the animal can add to the design I like them, but would not want to see animals added to Ft McHenry to say there were animals.

I would vote for either also. Animals are cool on coins but, some of the National Park locations just don't bode well for an animal on their design. I'm glad they didn't put a Big Horn Sheep or some other critter on someones nose in the Mount Rushmore design.

Yeah, it really depnds on the case.
Seems to me that the Great Sand Dunes in 2014 is really going to be a challenge. Hard to find animals or else the design would be boring.

I voted either, some parks simply do not have an animal that would fit them, or there aren't any iconic animals that exist there to begin with.
Ex: Gettysburg... although I suppose they could have added a squirrel eating a nut somewhere in there. lol jking

I'd like to see an Ape like Curious George on one. Of course a Dolphin. But for sure a Dog.

Neutral. I prefer a good overall design to a mediocre one. If an animal being there or not makes the difference, then so be it.

I tent to like animals. But I do like their take on Mt. Rushmore. It is a different shot of it.

Yes, the Mt Rushmore is a smart design, eliminating the cracks on the limestone.

I agree, the Mt Rushmore design is growing on me. And if we want to be technical, it does have animals on it.
