Got these @ my local bank yesterday...Curious if they are worth more than face value? I also got these $2's & $1 dollar bills & a couple neat twoonies too!

the twoonies aren't worth more than face.

the conescutive 1$ and 2$ really aren't but because they're consecutive you can usually get 3$ ea. for the 1$ bills and around 4$ each for the 2$ bills if you sell in consecutive order.

now the 1954, no matter the condition, you'll find someone to buy for a premium, yours look like they're in good condition, post them in the grading section with better pictures and someone more advanced in paper grading will help

I would say the $20 is in EF condition, and the $10 is a low VF with writing, and soiling.

Replacement notes in the 1954 Series are designated with an Asterisk (*), This note does have the same prefix as a replacement note, however it is not one.

The $10 has a book value of $14 in that condition, and the $20 is $35.

I went to the link above someone suggested & saw this:

"Beattie-Rasminsky (Replacement *B/V)"

I assumed the B/V would be the prefix #'s, which the $10 bill has...

The star or 'asterisk' makes quite a bit of difference.

i talked with my bank's manager today and she told me they are not allowed give out notes without newer security features, so these are excellent finds for face value in my opinion!

One more thing aardspeed the two $2 bills are birthday notes 2007827, 2007727 etc etc. Try to sell them around those dates. Bit higher premium too.
