Just fooling around on ebay and though I would check if any have sold recently. 6 sold in the last month, 4 over $200, one at $160 and one in one of those stupid aussie flag slabs for $700. Whilst I'm sure the person who paid $700 for that piece of crap wont see a return for a long time has the prices of these generally increased from around the same time last year? I remember them going for a little over $100 a year ago. Maybe I remember incorrectly. Does someone has some longer term data? Jeff maybe you could share what yours have sold for over the years? http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw...md=1&_ipg=50

I bought a few after following this variety for a few months about a year ago and found that Fine examples on ebay were selling for about $250 and occasionally just short of $300.There only seemed to be afine or fine and UNC examples available then but dont know what they've been doing lately.Maccas shows no change in price in 2013

The average circulated coins haven't changed much for a couple of years really. Typically they have been between $190 to $250 that I have noticed.

If you click on the one slabbed with a Aussie flag you will see it was sold for 500.

I'm sure this guy has the 'MS' mislabelling pointed out to him plenty of times but perhaps he has released too many slabs to correct it. Also, it's not good practice to 'flame' an unhappy buyer.....at least learn how to spell "intellectual"....

First and foremost Nightparrot. Now the formalities are over lets get down to business Quote: I'm sure this guy has the 'MS' mislabelling pointed out to him plenty of times but perhaps he has released too many slabs to correct it.
To be quite honest this bloke has no idea how to grade using the "Sheldon system" and probably not the ANDA system either,He has created his "Own " grading system to get over THAT minor problem ( God fobid). He is simply jumping on the bandwagon of the slobbing phenomenon that is infecting Australia at the moment. I do agree however that IF slobbed coins do take a firm foothold in Aus we will need our OWN TPG , But not this clown Quote: at least learn how to spell "intellectual".... We are all not Rhode scholars here so the odd spelling screw up IS acceptable as long as the context of the post is understandable and relevant Come on Mate 3 posts and YOU are bagging people on this site for a spelling blunder

Maybe my eyes are worse than I thought ..... all I can see is that flippy spelt the word correctly, intellectual. The ebay description spells it incorrectly as INTERLECTUAL. Hmmm ....

Hey Nightparrot, when I read your comment I think I read it the same way Trout did above. Which is possibly not the way you meant it. Perhaps putting the " " around a correctly spelt word has caused some misinterpretation. BTW

Whoa there Trout.....looks like I have expressed myself poorly. What I am saying is that the seller has released too many slabs to change his system. I am not defending his system - it's appalling and very confusing - just offering a reason why he hasn't changed it. The spelling error I referred to was in the seller's ebay listing where he sarcastically referred to someone who returned the item as an "interlectual" who misunderstood what he was selling. I did not criticise anyone on this forum. If my post was confusing, apologies.
