This Roosevelt dime has a killer "mint error." They are offering this amazing deal for the low price of $98,675 with free shipping! I offered a generous 99 cents for it http://www.ebay.com/itm/37073378018....m1432.l2649
Thinking about listing my Capped Bust quarter for 100 million.

The worst part is they appear to be some sort of coin dealer with the number of listings they have

I'm wondering if this was a typo and the seller didn't catch it.

$98,765.43 = 9876543.

He/she has a lot of slabbed coins, but none priced as silly as this one.

If I was looking for a Rosie proof, why would I buy one with swirl marks? Is this really a 100K error? Was this from an improperly polished die?

The seller is a dreamer (I am being nice).

I think the seller is thinking:

1) Get people to look at this ridiculously priced coin
2) Get people to click on "View seller's other items" to see what other ridiculously priced coins he is selling
3) Get people to say "hey, the rest of these are pretty nice"

In other words, it might be a marketing ploy.

I notice that he also found a way to list MS70 coins from non-recognized 3rd party holders in his title ~ "PERFECT-SCORE".

Seems like the logical offer is $2.10, which, amusingly enough, is just about melt value.
Rest in Peace

I bet I can replicate his "swirl marks" with a quick twist of a piece of steel wool.

So I looked at it again and he ended it and relisted it, guess he didnt like your guys offers.

I also just noticed that if you buy 2 or more items you get FREE priority mail shipping, apparently paying 100k for a coin isn't enough to warrant a shipping upgrade lol
