Not sure if I'm about to sound ridiculous or not, lol.
I've heard that nickels with full steps makes them more valuable. Is this true? Should I be checking my nickels more closely or something? Lol. Any reply saying anything about this would be helpful.

Dont confufe, for example PCGS MS66FS with FS-022. One's a grade, ones a variety.

Depends on what year and MM but generally speaking yes.Full steps means a full strike. There are a lot less with a full strike.

I can understand this. Its nice to have not only a great looking MS coin, but when all the details are present, it makes it look nicer to a detail oriented person (guilty as charged). I recently found the first 1989 JFK where you could actually see all of the hairlines on JFK. It is the first I have seen although I have several that look like they just came from the mint Most were poorly struck for some reason.

Generally speaking you want to look at nickels before 1989. Some years are more common than others, such 1971. But any full step nickel from before 89 should be put in a 2x2; as long as it is MS. There are exceptions. If you have a 52S,53S, or 53S in XF or AU and you have 5 steps, and for sure if you have 6 steps. Hold on to them.
