Hi everyone,
I have had this in my collection for a long time and just wanted to know yours thoughts on it rarity wise? value? Condition and grading? and this is a genuine coin.
When inserting an image can I use a photobucket link or do I just upload from my computer.

Just under the message window, you will find "Upload Image" Click on this, browse for the file, then click upload file to xxxx's post, then close window once complete. Just make sure the file is under 100k.

Yes and yes. Easiest to load from your computer via "Upload Image" link but must be less than 100kB size. (See "Free Image Optimizer" link if you need help with sizing.)

Interesting clipped blank for this date. The image of George V1 always seems to be weaker than the obverse legends for this date. Probably helps to explain why sharp images of George V1 for this date are so rare, and thus valuable.

I would say that is its genuine it would probably worth around the $10 mark. I would put it at aF but it seems to have a lot of dark areas.
As to the clip; I see no blakesley effect which is unusual and there is not fishtailing of the letters. With such a large rim I would have expected there to be quite a bit of weakness. The rim also looks strange. Could you take a closer picture of the coin. Try cropping it to exclude all of the white cardboard of the 2x2.
Clips are fairly common errors at the end of the day. Having said that I absolutely love them! I cant seem to stop buying them lately.

The white tick thing is a reflection off the casing.

Sorry to say I dont think it is genuine. There is no weakness around the clip or opposite which is very strange seeing as it is so large.

I would be inclined to agree with enworb. The angle and deformation of the rim also seems unusual, seeming to suggest tin snips or similar.

This coin was minted in Denver, USA...so I'd expect to see the usual evidence of a clipped US coin. There's no weakness on the opposite rim, and the obverse shows an odd gap between the clip and remnants of the rim. That doesn't look right to me; it looks like a tool crushed the rim while making that cut.

the one that sent alarm bells ringing for me was the angle of the clip instead of just up and down it looks like a thirty degree angle in the clip which I dont think is possible correct me if I am wrong

Some clips are at an angle omf. Not all clips are nice and clean, they can be very jagged.
