Nice coin dj. I would go with XF45. Just a little too much wear on cheek, jaw, and ear for AU. Know that this year is especially prone to mushy strikes. Yours is nice and strong. A keeper!

I took these with my cellphone camera. My desk has a window in front of it and I think the natural lighting helped with the slightly angled shots.

 Nice find. I do the dance of joy when I find something from the 40's. I'd be bouncing off the walls if I found something from the 30's. That coins is in great shape for being out in circulation.

What a great one to find in a roll.  For sure EF-45  , for the few hits in the fields and a bit of rub it's almost a AU

EF - 45, quite a few hits on the fields both obverse and reverse for AU.
