My VAM ignorance is showing: I didn't know you could get any E clash without also getting the other, common reverse clash marks corresponding to Liberty's profile, neck, and the vee below the cap. Good information, especially since I presume this is a valuable VAM. Congrats!

Your new photos still show the telltale disruptions in the fields in front of Liberty's face and below STATES. Luster is otherwise pretty strong so I'm voting AU-58.
Rest in Peace

Congrats! That is definitely a VAM22A and regardless of the grade AU or MS you did very well for what you paid. Are going to submit it to one of the TPG's?

Gradewise, I'd say MS61. It looks like a fairly serious mark on the reverse under the A in states

This one the reverse is toned a very gold colour and so any contacts look dark, under the A surprisingly is just a slight rub, there is no depth to the 3 marks, but yes the photos do make it look very bad

I'll stick with my original assesment at MS62 but I could see this coin getting into a MS63 holder just as easy as a 62. Great pick on the VAM!
