paparet Valued Member United States 253 Posts	Posted 02/04/2013 9:23 pm How do you feel about the date and mint mark on the edge? Although the date can be determined fairly easy if you know when a particular design was minted, but I find that looking for the mint mark is a real pain especially once the coin is in a holder. Earle42 Bedrock of the Community United States 10034 Posts	Posted 02/05/2013 4:54 pm Dumb idea. Especially since in roll hunting halves I see the edges of coins are very susceptible to wear. I see quite a few JFKs with flat edges, and suspect the softer metal in the dollars will be worse. How much squash could a Sasquatch squash if a Sasquatch would squash squash?
