He says it's a pre 1940s roll unsearched by him with a 1909 (VBD?!?!) on one end and a 1883 indian on the other, He he says bought it from a collector that way...

So the supposed collector had a roll of wheats that he filled with pre 1940s... but also put an indian on the end? And a 1909 simply goes on the end of a "pre 1940s" roll?

Yeah, no, not suspicious at all.

C'mon, you know these are truly unsearched!
That S IHC has to be a 1909 and that 1916 Merc should have a D .

I love the "unsearched" bags of cents that say it has a steel cent inside. If its unsearched, how do you know there is a steel cent inside.

Or the bags of "unsearched" wheat cents. How do you know they're all wheat cents.

That's a good line, imma use that! If I put a roll up with my "grandpa's" ashes next to the "unsearched" roll, along with his will, stating how he wanted me only to inherit the "'key dates', whatever that means" do you think the prices will go higher? Maybe there could also be a vial of air that holds his last breath? While I'm at it, there should a $2.5 gold coin sitting in a jar of common pocket change marked "COINSTAR BAIT", just so they think I REALLY know nothing.

What I love is how non-creative these scammers are.
It's either purchased from an estate sale or a family from wherever.
What they should say is "I was walking on the sidewalk on the way to the market to get some milk when this roll just fell outa the sky".
That would be more believable.

If the major western religions are correct in their depictions of the afterlife and about lying being a "deadly sin," then that place
they call "the lake of fire that shall not be quenched" will end up being very heavily populated with former ebay sellers.

The 7 deadly sins are " wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony."
Also, many Christians believe a sin is a sin.

The only time you get a truly "unsearched" lot of coins if someone found, bought, or inherited them and just wants to get rid of them. I have bought a bunch of V nickels and asked the seller if they searched them after they were sent and I know they told the truth because they would have noticed the Shield nickel mixed in.
