Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if this question has ever been asked, but how does the mint determine who gets their coin(s)? Is it as random as a lottery or is it first come first served?

So it's random then. I guess I'll just have to check my email daily for any shipping updates.

Sorry, checking email won't help either, very often they ship coins without sending shipping notice. Sometimes I got the coins days before I received a shipping notice. So everything is pretty much random.

Maybe whenever some employee heads out on a coffee run to Timmys they give him/her a bunch of coins to drop off at the post office along the way.

I rarely get shipping confirmation emails, but I get all the emails wanting me to review coins I bought.

So you are saying to check my mailbox daily and not be waiting for the confirmation and/or website.

I always get shipping confirmation just never a tracking number so I still don't know which day it is going to show up exactly and I hate to have it left in mailbox.

The date of shipment will be determined by the volume of orders received, product availability and other factors.

hope this clears up the mystery, we just have to figure out the other factors?

I received my coin on a Thursday. I got the email notification on the following Monday, and the website showed item shipped on the following Wednesday.

Would the mint have more information about my orders than the website I access?
