Quote: Sorry for the confusion, I see now that I spelled Dolly as Dollie. Old age sucks. Man, this is a beautiful coin! Looks like her name is actually spelled "Dolley". I learned something new today.

There are many good designs in the modern dollar series, here is a link to a thread with them all to 2012. https://goccf.com/t/90998

She is just such a beautiful coin. I love women on a coin and she fills out the coin nicely.

Silver proofs in original mint packaging are readily available for about thirteen or fouteen bucks on eBay--a steal, as far as I'm concerned. In fact I've thought about stacking them. I love both their design and their price.

I just logged in to my Littleton account and my coin is still "Pending Fulfillment". It was ordered on Feb 22. *sigh*

I just bought a Washington silver 1982 commem. half dollar on ebay for buy-it-now $5.99. The auction stated the seller didn't know anything about it and just knew you aren't supposed to touch them so she left it in the plastic case, which was insanely yellowed and scratched all up. When I got it, I couldn't even see inside it on the obverse, and on the reverse I could barely make out Mount Vernon. I carefully cracked it open to find a 1982S absolute terriffic coin staring back at me. I figured if the coin was bad, it's still worth more than I paid in silver, but this was a good buy! It's in my Dansco now.

Nice looking commemorative! This was the half dollar that started me on the modern commem. collection. My pic shows milky areas but that's actually just dust or something in the pic. The coin itself is very sharp.

SkyShark124- ya I figured that was dust on yours and the other as well, same with mine, it shows up like a neon sign on these! yours looks great too (also the top set!) I love the black on white look, it doesn't show this contrasted on other coins, for some reason on this one it really sticks out! I really like the UNC version too, the colors great, it just looks unbelievably nice! I may have to get one of those now too. I was born in 1982, so that was another reason I wanted this one so bad, and was happy to find it in that promo for $9.95 shipped, especially in this condition!
Come on everyone else, lets see um!
