Poll Question
I submitted this 1850 Large Cent to PCGS which is the first coin I have sent in to any TPG. So do you think it will grade or get bagged?

I'm thinking AU58,with great eye appeal, but I'm not an expert with these. The high spot on the crest above 'liberty' appears to have some rub, at least with your lighting. Hope I'm wrong and you get MS

I just looked at PCGS photograde and their MS coins have worse looking crests than yours, I'd be surprised if your coin is not MS.

Looks very nice and original to me, with strong RB color. The mushy detail on stars and denticles is pretty much normal for braided hair large cents, not caused by any wear. I'd say this coin is solid for MS-63RB. The little carbon spot by Liberty's forelock (word for the day!) might be the main factor holding it back from a higher grade.

with Jaobler. Poll makes no sense. Will it grade or get bagged, yes or no? Yes it will grade, no it will not get bagged.

I think coinzip meant that yes it will grade or no, it won't.

Assuming the color hasn't been funked with (doesn't look entirely natural from the image), it should grade MS something.
